The main goal of this dissertation is develop a smart controller to integrate a water heater domestic heat pump. This smart controller should respect some sets of requirements related to standards and working conditions:

 

 

 

1.  Develop a new control software, compliant with European Standard EN16147 and Energy related Products (ErP);

2.  The control software should be able to acquire information from the user profile (consumption), Smart-Grid information and environment conditions in order to guarantee the maximum comfort;

3.  Implement in a smart controller with inherent Coefficient of Performance (COP) increase.
